Expedition 'Jai Bharat' is a Trans-India Hot Air Ballooning Expedition conducted by the Indian Army, dedicated to the jawans who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation and in the spirit of national integration.
The expedition was flagged off by Major General Sharad Kapur, General Officer Commanding, "Tiger Division", in an impressive ceremony at Zorawar Stadium, Jammu, attended by school children, ex-servicemen, soldiers and their families.
A joint team of JAK RIF RC and Three EME Centre, Bhopal flew two hot air balloons from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering 3,236 km across the length of India, touching 31 stations with aero shows conducted at each stop.
